As a Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers member of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), a teacher who has been supporting developing countries on the African island "Madagascar" introduces the life and culture of Madagascar children. In addition, let's think about environmental issues through the creation of eco-friendly cooking equipment "Solar cooker".

【What country is Madagascar? ]
Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world, 400 km southeast of the African continent. It has long been isolated from other continents, so you can see plants and animals not found elsewhere.

[What is 'Solar Cooker'? ]
It is a tool to collect sunlight and make food. On sunny days, you can cook for about an hour! The teacher introduced the solar cooker as an eco-friendly cooking tool in Madagascar with no concern for environmental problems.
