Katsuo Matsumoto, who won a silver medal in the 200m freestyle swimming men of the World Swimming Championships 2019 held in Korea this July, paid a courtesy visit.
Matsumoto won the first Japanese medal in the same event through the Olympic and World Championships. Graduated from the municipal Tomizugen Elementary School and Tokiwa Junior High School. As a player related to Katsushika, he is also one of the “Katsushika City Top Athletes”.
