On Saturday, August 31, at the Seven-Eleven Higashi-Horikiri 3-chome store, Kamichiba Honmachikai conducted an initial fire drill using a standpipe and a fire extinguisher under the guidance of the local Minami Ayase branch office. The store is the first in the city to have a storage box with a standpipe. A total of about 30 people were trained, and the local people who participated listened to the instructions of firefighters eagerly and learned how to use the standpipe.
