Forest Art Festival 2027 – Pre-announcement of a work: Mika Ninagawa with EiM – Train to Protopia
A special train bound for Protopia, a pre-release project for the Forest Art Festival 2027, will begin operation mainly on the JR Tsuyama Line. Ahead of the "Forest Art Festival: Sunny Country Okayama" to be held in the fall of 2027, a special train created by participating artist "Mika Ninagawa with EiM" has begun operation. Based on the concept of "Protopia," this train is scheduled to evolve and be completed in the fall of 2027. Details here.
Tsuyama Railway Museum has reached 600,000 visitors!
The Tsuyama Railway Museum reached 600,000 visitors on August 23rd, 2026 (Sunday), since its grand opening in 2016. The 600,000th visitor received a commemorative gift, including a Kumanakutabinyan plush toy and Tsuyama Railway Museum merchandise. We owe this milestone to the support of so many people. We will continue to strive to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone.
