Fukuriki Arajinja Shrine Annual Festival
Fukuriki Kojin Shrine is known as the god of warding off vipers and safe childbirth. The daughter of Mori Tadamasa, the lord of Tsuyama Domain, gave birth safely after praying for safe childbirth, and Yamaguchi Hikozaemon, a retainer of the Mori family, was attacked by a viper but made a full recovery after praying. It is said to be miraculously effective in safe childbirth and warding off vipers. 10th Anniversary Castle EXPO Castle EXPO is one of Japan's largest castle festivals, held every December since 2016 at Pacifico Yokohama with the aim of promoting and developing castle culture and facilitating interaction with castle lovers. Tsuyama City will be exhibiting at this year's event, which marks the 10th anniversary of the event.
